Coco Collection

The Coco chair was originally designed out of a desire to create a metal chair. OEO Studio is known for their passion for working with wood and has over the years created a long line of wooden furniture and objects, yet they had never conceived a metal chair before Coco came to life. With a background in the fashion industry, designer Thomas Lykke had a keen eye to creating a sophisticated design with a compelling signature and silhouette, one offering high comfort.

The metal frame is carefully executed as were it a wooden structure, aiming to create a balance between the hard metal and the soft curves from the bent metal, while adding a sculptural seat and backrest to give the chair a more welcoming and human feel.

Coco is a chair full of character that can be dressed in many ways – from eclectically and opulently taking the scene to a more subtle and minimal look, according to context.

In 2018, the Coco Collection was extended to include a barstool and lounge stool, and in the autumn of 2020 a stackable version will become available.
