Lykke Kitchen

The Lykke Kitchen for Garde Hvalsøe is a pared-back marriage of materials with attention to detail and with dedication to premium craftsmanship. Unlike other crafted kitchens, the Lykke Kitchen is based on a modular principle that allows for a more flexible way to install and ship.

Subtle designed details give the kitchen design a unique personality of its own. The metal plinth creates an illusion of a floating unit where the more solid appearance of the wooden structure is balanced by a sense of lightness. The cabinet modules are sectioned using slender metal divisions that elegantly frame and enhance the lines and the beauty of the materials. Just as with the plinth, the table top with its subtle raise and shadow gap in-between the wooden structure and table top also gives the illusion of a floating counter top. The Lykke Kitchen marries the virtues of good old craftsmanship with a fresh approach and contemporary style.
