Simple Desk & Essens Chair

OEO Studio has collaborated with American furniture company HBF to create the timeless Essens Chairs and Stools Collection along with the Simple Writing Desk that complements the series. All furnishings in the collection are designed with great attention to detail and dedication to craftsmanship.

With its honest, clean and simple aesthetics, the Simple Writing Desk is a multifunctional and dynamic piece that works in any setting, from the office to the home. 

The Essens seating series is defined by its rich mix of materials and grand yet minimal design. The simple metal leg of the Essens chair adds contrast to its sculpted solid wooden backrest, which is soft and embracing. The seat and arms are integrated, highlighting the proportions and structure of the chair.

Commenting on the design, Thomas Lykke, says: “Workplace design is shifting its focus to better quality and more durable pieces that last longer and have a homey feeling. This is what we believe in and what we design for: furniture that ages with beauty and can withstand the test of time.
